The social and psychological support for families of children with disabilities through the family counseling/therapy

The diploma thesis entitled Sociopsychological Support for Families with Disabled Children through Family Therapy consists of a theoretical and empirical part. The theoretical part describes the individual types of disabilities and their effect on the family, deals with the specific aspects of a family with a disabled child and the impact of a traumatic event in the form of a child's disability on the individual members of the family. It also presents a detailed concept of family therapy, including specific therapeutic methods and tools. The empirical part of the thesis consists of a qualitative survey that examines the effect of the child's disability on the family system and the options of using family therapy in this target group. The survey is based on interviews with the individual members of families with disabled children.
Use of animal assisted therapy and hippotherapy for children with physical and sensory disabilities and its application

The aim of this thesis is to determine the influence of assisted therapy of dogs and horses for people with musculoskeletal disabilities and sensory impairments. The operational objective is to define the status and position of a therapy with the assistance of a dog and a horse in the context of the complex rehabilitation of a client. The theoretical part concentrates on the issues of zootherapy and zooasistance as supportive methods for easing muscle spasms, the development of fine and gross motor skills, development of verbal and nonverbal communication and development of orientation in space. In the research part of the thesis there are used qualitative techniques of data collection (history and observation), all rounded off by grounded theory. By the carried out research there were found positive manifestations in both the social and psychological areas, as well as in the areas of communication and development of fine and gross motor skills of children with disabilities.
People with disabilities entering university

This bachelor thesis focuses on people with disabilities entering university at a specific stage of the life cycle. This particular stage of the life cycle is called emerging adulthood and includes the age range from 18 to 25. These young adults are experiencing an important milestone in their lives. In this case, this life milestone is entering university. This group of people has to deal not only with their disability but also with the pressure associated with this life stage. This the pressure is mainly from their family and college, but also from the whole society. The main goal of this bachelor thesis was to find out the conditions of people with sensory and physical disabilities at Charles University when they are entering the university and during their subsequent studies at this university. I tried to map the stage of emerging adulthood in these people and reveal some common features. The other goal was to reveal the most common obstacles that these students may encounter on their journey to obtain a university degree. Theoretical knowledge of first aid of pupils with hearing impairment educated by different communicational approach

Title: Theoretical knowledge of first aid of pupils with hearing impairment educated by different communicational approach. Objectives: The purpose of this diploma thesis is to compare the level of theoretical knowledge concerning the first aid at schools for pupils with hearing impairment depending on main communicational approach. The partial goal is to determine if there is a connection between subjective evaluation of first aid knowledge, the ability to provide the first aid and the theoretical knowledge itself. Methods: Questionnaire containing 14 questions was used to determine pupils' knowledge. It was distributed in three elementary schools for hearing impaired children. The aiming group were pupils from the 9th and 10th grade of elementary school. Altogether 18 respondents from 3 elementary schools (X, Y and Z) participated in the research. There were 5 pupils in each class at schools X and Y, and both schools used bilingual communication as the education method, the questionnaire was translated into sign language there. Integration of pupil with sensory disabilities into apprenticeship departments

Bachelor thesis entitled Integration of pupil with sensory disabilities into apprenticeship departments with educational and social integration of students with certain disabilities. The theoretical part deals with the concepts of integration and inclusion, comparing the Czech Republic and other European countries. It focuses on visual impairment, development, causes and consequences. Describes in detail the education of visually impaired people, its history and present conditions and the integration of pupils with this disability. He does not forget also the work of a teacher and an assistant teacher in the teaching of pupils with visual impairment. The practical part uses multiple tools, identifying information (questionnaire) to do in order to determine how a visual impairment informed teachers at specific elementary school informed parents and parents' opinion on sensory visual impairment and its integration in elementary school.

I would like to look at sexual issues for persons with disabilities from the perspective of social work and ethics. The aim is to present the project as a possible sexual assistance service for persons with disabilities, which will be directed to social services and then be ethically evaluated. I will focus on the area of sexuality, that is to understand the topic of sexual assistance is important.
